What is included in the Personalized Pathway?

How does the Digital Pathway work?

How long does each pathway take to complete?

Both pathways follow a 12-week structure. The Digital Pathway is fully self-paced; the Personalized Pathway typically meets weekly or bi-weekly.

Foundations for Forever© was created by the co-founders of A Soulful Love: a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor and International Relationship Consultant, who have spent over a decade working directly with couples. The program grew from their clinical observation that couples thrive when preparation matches the depth of the commitment.

Foundations for Forever© is premarital education. Couples move through a structured twelve-week curriculum that builds skills, deepens self-understanding, and guides the conversations that shape a marriage. Our founders are licensed clinicians, and the program draws on that clinical training while remaining educational in nature. Couples seeking therapy for relationship distress or individual mental health support are encouraged to connect with a licensed therapist in their state.
The Foundations for Forever© Digital Premarital Workbook is an 88-page guided workbook created by two licensed therapists, available for $25 as an instant digital download. It follows the twelve-week program week by week, with reflective prompts each partner answers and exercises couples work through together. Couples use it on its own, alongside the Digital Pathway, or in print as part of the Personalized Pathway.

The ideal window is 6 to 12 months before the wedding, which gives couples room to complete all 12 weeks with time to spare. Newlywed couples in their first one to three years of marriage are also a fit for the program — the foundations remain just as valuable after the vows.

Foundations for Forever© is grounded in clinical practice and relationship research, and it welcomes couples of every background — couples of deep faith, couples of different faiths, and couples with no faith tradition at all. The program honors the spiritual and cultural values each partner brings, and creates space to explore how those values shape the life you are building together.
Several U.S. states reward couples who complete a qualifying premarital preparation course. Florida offers a $25 discount and waives its three-day waiting period after a minimum 4-hour course from a registered provider; Georgia offers a discount for couples who complete at least 6 hours of premarital education; Texas waives $60 through its Twogether in Texas program. Foundations for Forever© provides a certificate of completion, and our 12-week program exceeds these hour minimums.
